Festool sanders are the most precise tools in the trade — and they only work right with the right consumables. IBEX Enterprises stocks Festool sanders, CLEANTEC dust extractors, Domino joinery, and Granat abrasives, plus the Festool-compatible Sia Siaspeed 1950 disc line in every grit Festool sells. If you run a Festool ETS, RO, or ETS EC, this is your one-stop catalog for the tools and the consumables that fit them.

Why Festool buyers shop with us
The 49-hole pattern is engineered, not approximated. The Sia Siaspeed 1950 line is the Festool-compatible disc family we stock, and it’s there because the hole alignment matches Festool’s CT-series dust extractors precisely — you keep full suction performance through the disc’s life. Cheaper “Festool-pattern” discs from no-name brands lose 30–40% of suction within an hour because the holes don’t align with the backing pad’s vacuum channels.
Full grit range, always in stock. From 40 grit (initial stock removal) to 1500 grit (between-coat finishing on automotive clearcoat), we stock the full Siaspeed 1950 grit ladder.
Western Canada speed. Most Festool dealers in Canada ship from Ontario or Quebec. We ship from Calgary, so Western Canada gets it faster than ordering from out east.

Festool grit selection guide
- Initial stock removal: RO 150 + Siaspeed 40–60 — reclaim, weathered wood, paint stripping
- Smoothing: RO 150 + Siaspeed 80–120 — after heavy removal, before fine sanding
- Pre-finish prep on hardwood: ETS EC 150 + Siaspeed 150–180 — furniture and cabinets before stain
- Final pre-stain / pre-paint: ETS EC 150 + Siaspeed 220 — maximum grit before finish on wood
- Between-coat (waterborne lacquer): ETS EC 150 + Siaspeed 320–400 — de-nibbing between coats
- Auto-body primer prep: ETS EC 150 + Siaspeed 320–600 — color-coat-ready primer surface
- Auto-body color sanding: ETS EC 150 + Siaspeed 1000–1500 — removing dust nibs in clearcoat before polishing
The general rule: never skip more than one grit step. Going 80 → 220 leaves scratches the next coat won’t fill; 80 → 120 → 180 → 220 is the safe progression.

Frequently asked questions
Where does IBEX source its Festool products?
We stock Festool tools and consumables sourced through the Canadian Festool distribution network. For tools not in our regular inventory, we can typically order them from Festool Canada — call and we’ll confirm current lead time.
What’s the difference between Festool’s Granat discs and the Sia Siaspeed 1950″
Both are excellent. Granat is Festool’s premium house brand — slightly more aggressive cut on the highest grits, slightly higher price. Siaspeed 1950 is built to the Festool 49-hole pattern and performs comparably at a lower per-box price. Most pros use Siaspeed 1950 day-to-day and Granat when matching a specific factory-spec finish.
Do these discs work on Mirka sanders too?
Yes. The 49-hole Festool pattern is also the Mirka DEROS and CEROS pattern — the same disc fits both.
Do you stock Festool dust extractors and filters?
Yes — we carry the CLEANTEC CT extractors and replacement filters. Call with the part number for anything not on the shelf.
What about the Festool RO 90 (small triangular sander)?
Use 5″ / 125 mm Siaspeed 1950 in round mode. For the triangular delta head, you need triangular sheets — call us with the grit you need.
